“Yob culture” in Britain?
There’s a new poll out today that says that more than half of people surveyed want under 16’s banned from being outside after dark unless under adult supervision because of the recent attacks and murders committed by young people.
Do you think yob culture is getting out of control? Are you personally afraid for your own safety in your area? Would you stand up to any kids that provoke you? Or do you think that nothing has really changed over the last few years, and it’s all being blown out of proportion?
I do not personally fear for my own safety, but yobs are ruling the streets. Yes I would (and have) stood up to kids making a nuisance of themselves. A curfew on under 16s would be a start. Then at 16, we bring back something like national service.
